How Different are your Products from Competition.

We are constantly looking for new destinations and new products and we offer many different services.We treat our smallest customer the same way we treat the largest one.

Where when and degree you graduated from?

B.S.in Business administration from MercyCollege New York, Class of 1985.

What ignited the spark in you to start a new business venture or to make significant changes in an existing business?

I was an independent agent for Verizon setting up DS1s and DS3s connecting carriers. I rapidly made friends with both Providers and their clients and decided i could do it all. So in 2001, I leased my first Soft Switch and started buying my own routes from those providers and deliver service to those same clients.

Can you describe some of the risk that you took early on?

As an agent for Verizon , I was making a lot of money and i really did not understand the technicalities that goes with starting a Telecom business.

Is there a certain personality type that make a better entreprenuer or CEO?

A Salesman with management skills makes the best CEO.

How to validate the worthiness of an idea?

We are in an industry that changes everyday and it really is hard to tell . Luck plays a big role in here and of course demand.As a mid level player you have to find your own niche and do your best.

What are the critical soft skills and learning skill for building an executive team?

As a CEO and to be successful you have to surround yourself with people that you trust and know they respect you. At the same time you need people that can help you without feeling threatened by their knowledge. In my case i need and trust my technical team because sales is my strength. I leave it to them to develop and for me to decide if i can deliver.

I have always worked for myself with few sales jobs in between.Telecom has been the Best so far and i will stick to it.

Where you see yourself and your business in 10 years? 20 years?

I hope in the sameplace with POP's in more countries.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?.

The most Satisfying moment i think was when i connected my first client in 2001 to my own soft switch.
