Summary: We are currently searching for a Telecom Systems Specialist to join our corporate team in Chicago. The Telecommunications System Specialist is responsible for all daily telecommunications operations of the voice enterprise, which includes the call center, apartment communities, corporate, and regional offices.
Description: This position will design the processes and guidelines of telecommunications at Equity Residential as well as be responsible for installation, operation, maintenance, and ongoing monitoring of telecommunications hardware and software systems including PBXs, key systems, VoIP, voice mail systems, ACD’s, IVR’s and all associated peripheral equipment. Bachelor’s degree or above is requires. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years telecommunications and VoIP experience with a particular focus in contact center solutions is required. Must have experience managing technical projects. Must be able to demonstrate ability to work unsupervised. Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; must be a confident and effective communicator at all levels of the organization.
