Telecom Analyst

Summary: BS in a technical discipline
· 3+ years experience working in a production operations environment (e.g. call center, application hosting, search provider, ISP, telco/cable provider, etc.)
· 3+ years working with major telephone carriers including circuit provisioning, number provision with advanced features, advanced routing plans, setting up call detail reporting, etc.
· Must have experience with the provisioning, advanced routing and reporting tools from one or more of the following PSTN providers:
o 800/SMS
o AT&T (Business Direct, RouteIt!)
o Verizon Business (Enterprise Center)
o Level 3 (Enabled Portal)
o Qwest (Q-Control, Remote Control)
o Global Crossing (U-Command)
o Or tools from other major domestic or international carriers
Description: Work directly with major telecom carriers to provision telephone numbers (toll-free, DID, outbound, and international) and utilize web-based software to reserve and configure toll-free numbers within the 800/SMS system
· Work with account managers, external clients and other vendors to ensure call routing and reporting are properly setup
· Place, track and verify orders for telephony circuits, advanced features and services
· Follow (and evolve) standard work processes and ensure that all data related to phone numbers and circuits are properly entered into the tracking systems
· Monitor and analyze daily reports and metrics; identify areas of concern and opportunities for improvement
· Play key role in troubleshooting issues related to call routing and other telephony issues
· Work with our team to continually improve processes related to client implementations, achieving/exceeding SLA commitments, improving service delivery, and managing capacity
