Summary: PROJECT MANAGER
This position is based in Montreal, Canada. The Project Manager's role is to define and manage the entire process of executing projects for our clients' hospitals and clinics. Projects are technical in nature and may include new implementations, existing expansions, RIS integrations, data conversions/migrations, additions of software modules, etc. Project Managers work with multiple contacts for each project, including the customer and their project staff, internal staff, outside vendors, and at times, external consultants. Projects typically run anywhere from a few months, to a year or more.
RESPONSIBILITIES
. Manage the project from kickoff to implementation and client acceptance
. Manage communications between the client and other project participants
. Develop, manage and execute the project plan
. Navigate and facilitate critical and complex business relationships
. Guide clients through the preparation of their IT infrastructure
. Oversee the efforts of the required internal specialists / departments
. Utilize previous PM experience and judgment to predict, flag and escalate issues
. Create and update project documentation for both internal and the client's use
. Manage and communicate project status, schedule, and expenses
. Perform ongoing risk assessment and management
. Obtain client project acceptance

Description: REQUIRED SKILLS
. Minimum 3-5 years managing medium-large technical projects, including software implementations
. Project Management accreditation (or equivalent work experience)
. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
. Experience communicating with senior management: directors, c-levels, business owners
. Sufficient knowledge to discuss general hardware (MB/GB/TB, server partitioning, RAIDs, workstations, UPS) and networking (client/server architecture, LANs, bandwidth, VPNs, firewalls) concepts with IT personnel
. Excellent English written and verbal communication, including presentation and facilitation skills
. Strong negotiation, planning, and organizing skills
. Ability to recognize and utilize formal and informal processes
. Ability to work alone or as part of a team
. Canadian citizenship or valid work permit
