Please tell about your Family?
I am the youngest of two children. My parents and my brother live in Mexico. We are very close to each other and despite the distance we stay in touch and visit each other as often as we can.
Currently, I’m living in Toronto with my husband, who is a Canadian citizen. We got married almost three years ago. |

| Where did you graduate from? Which degree do you have and when did you receive it?I graduated with honors from the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas in Mexico. I completed my degree in Information Technology in December 1999.

Please describe your first job experience.
My first job was for a Korean Company, SK Engineering and Construction. I worked in the Mechanical and Civil engineering department and managed the welding system software. The software was used to keep track and control all the welding work for each of the plants they were reconfiguring at the PEMEX Refinery in Tampico, Mexico.
It was a great experience to work for a foreign company and to learn about their work ideology and culture. |

What do you enjoy most about your current job?
It gives me great satisfaction and pleasure to help our entrepreneur customers in achieving their goals. It’s very satisfying to see them launch their IP telephony businesses and become success stories in very short periods of time. |

Please share, if there are times and moments you don’t like at your current job?
In every job there are always moments, when we find it is difficult to meet deadlines, but when you have a great team working with you and supporting you, these times vanish and all the projects get completed with no major difficulties. |

What has been the best advice that you have received from your mentor or experience?
Throughout my professional carrier, I have received many good suggestions that have helped me to improve and achieve my professional goals. One of them has been that no matter how difficult a goal is, you should never give up. Every experience teaches you a lesson to better yourself as a professional and as a person.
I was told always to be ethical, take initiative and set up short, mid and long term goals. |

Can you name your mentor and few words about your mentor?
My Father, Jorge Lopez Garay, has been my mentor. Even though he is retired now, he has 30 years of work experience. He taught me to be very professional and ethical.
He always told me that good things come to those who work hard, and that I should put all my efforts and energy on my goals to accomplish them with success and honor.

Do you have any regrets in Life?
I don’t regret anything, I learn from my faults, make the best of bad moments, and try to be positive. |

What is the biggest challenge that you have faced till now?
I guess I can say the biggest challenge to date has been to move from Mexico to Canada, I had to adjust to so many things that have now become part of my new life here in Toronto, and which I enjoy the most. |
